From follow up phone calls, to where even my guy Joseph met me to get my payment on his way home to keep my insurance going. Lisa Maples hands down has the best employees and professional ran company. I am glad I chose this place. "My realistic experience with Statefarm will be 3/5 stars but after that reply on my review I’m keeping it at 1 star. I was with StateFarm at a different agent for 2 years until I moved to Northgate and switched to this agent. The office staff at sign-up was great, Lisa is sweet and was helpful. They even sent me thanksgiving cards which was sweet. What wasn’t great was that they increased my premium suddenly by almost 39% I went from paying $150 to almost $200 dollars. When I called to ask why this is so, a guy picked up and he was so blasse about it. Basically said there’s nothing they could do even though I do not have any accidents or tickets in the time I’ve been with them or my driving record. He took about 5 mins to tell me that it might my car comprehensive rating or something went down. The car is just 2 years old (by year), no accidents, and I barely drive it because I don’t need to for work. I told him that I am being forced to shop around and he didn’t seem worried. Fast forward a few months later I actually did cancel my policy and that’s when I received a few panicked calls but by then it was too late. The point is, I know this is business but y’all didn’t do everything to help, like no let’s explore how we can help you save until after I canceled. I was so gutted, felt like I was being punished even though I did nothing wrong. A $50 increase might not be much to some but it’s gas money for me. That’s why I am leaving this review to whoever is moderating the reviews."
